BALTIMORE -- Playing winning baseball is the best way for the O's to make a statement, and being in first place is always fashionable.

One thing we've learned from this Orioles team is that the players are capable of taking it to another level.

Back home after winning a series in Toronto, the Orioles are now getting ready to take on the visiting New York Mets. Some of the team members agreed to make a grand entrance this afternoon.

Colton Cowser, Ryan Mountcastle, Adley Rutschman, and Gunnar Henderson decked out in jumpsuits and futuristic shades. Their "arrival" has gone viral, receiving rave reviews along with theories of their intended statement.

The move is on brand for a team that is young and having fun.

"We went on Amazon and just did some shopping and found some jumpsuits and some sunglasses that looked funny," Ryan Mountcastle said.

The Orioles haven't confirmed if the outfits were inspired by The Cheetah Girls, but, either way, they are certainly getting a lot of attention.

Cowser said he brought up the idea of coordinating outfits.

"I still don't know what they're going for," team member Austin Hays said. "I saw some Cheetah Girls takes. I saw some Teletubbies takes. The Power Rangers one. That's the one I thought was the best—the Power Rangers look."
